We are a family-operated English school (eikaiwa) located in the Kuwano district of the city of Koriyama, in Fukushima Prefecture, Tohoku region. Our names are Lary Bremner, Eiko Sugasawa, and our son Taro James Sugasawa Bremner. (You can see Taro's blog here.) We have served the local community since 2001, offering conversational classes for adults, children, junior high and high school students, as well as proof-reading services for both professional and personal purposes. Recently, we have began to offer English 'homepage and blog' building services or instruction. In addition, we have clean, comfortable, and well-lit classrooms, ample parking, and flexible scheduling.
What is your motivation for learning English? Perhaps, you will be transferred overseas to work, or are planning a vacation.
Possibly, you are discovering the need to use English for business e-mail or in the workplace. Or, maybe you are a Japanese teacher of English yourself,
struggling to keep up with your quickly advancing students, or just seeking to familiarize yourself with 'real' spoken English.
You may be a parent who is anxious to provide a son or daughter with their first enjoyable introduction to the English-speaking world.
No matter who you are, please come and see us, and let us help you with your many English learning needs.
Access English Center has helped many students find the program of overseas study most suitable to them. Our head teacher, Lary, is a native of Vancouver, Canada, and has taught ESL there. Our office manager, Eiko, has studied English in Australia. We will guide you through the application steps, explain particular visa procedures, and advise you as to the best homestay plan.
We highly recommend Pacific Gateway International College, with its Canadian learning centers in Vancouver, Victoria, and Toronto, and its new Australian schools located in Brisbane and Sydney.
Vancouver, B.C., Canada: a truly multi-cultural city & recreational paradise.
